The objectives of the assignment were to design landfill located in the middle of the Gaza Strip with a capacity for approximately 90,000 g/a; including leachate collection, recirculation and irrigation as weil as an asphalt basal sealing system. The consultant carried out the preliminary design and construction design as weil as preparation of tender documents (based on FIDIC Red Book) and advised local staff on construction issues.
